Diet for oily skin: what to eat and avoid


Your skin can be oily for many reasons. One of reasons can be - of course - diet. Below you can find important tips about that: what to eat and what to avoid. 

What to avoid:
If you don't want your skin to be oily, you have to reduce consumption of sugar. Sugar contributes to increased oil production, because of high glycemic index.

Morover, you should not eat a lot of salty products. Salt containts inflammantory fat, which contributes to deterioration of oily skin problems.

What is more, you have to reduce foods high in fat. Cholesterol and fat have an bad impact on your skin.

What to eat:
First of all, you should drink a lot of water. Daily intake of water should not be less than 2 liters. Water has got important function - flushes out toxines and thereby makes skin look fresh.

Morover, try to eat food which contains a lot of antioxidant. I mean mainly brightly colored fruits and vegetables.

Finally, you should eat fiber food. Products rich in fiber boosts skin tone, and - like water - flushes out toxines from body. Where is the fiber? In beans, corn, brown rice and nuts.

Natural (and more) remedies for oily skin


Oily skin can be a real big problem. In many cases the solution of this issue is... ageing. But you can also try many of home remedies and any other tips. I talked with dermatologists and searched the internet, and I choose the best of remedies and tips. And I listed them below. Good luck!

Masks for oily skin
I tried a lot of masks for oily skin. One of them were better, one of them were worse. The best for me is mask with cucmber (only half), yogurt and lemon. It really can help.

First of all you have to grate lemon and cucumber. Next you have to mixed all of listed ingredients in blender. And finally you should apply it to face and leave for ten minutes. Remember to avoid eye area. Use it once or twice a week.

Avoid sunlight
There is a popular myth - sunlight contributes to drynnes of skin. The truth is exatcly the opposite. People with oily skin can only increase their problem by sunlight, because it will mobilize sebaceous glands to work.

You can't wash it non-stop
It works like in above example. When you strip your face of sebum, it is a signal to your organism, that it have to over produce it.

Don't mix up oily skin with moisturizing skin
If your skin is oily, it dosen't means, that your skin is aslo moisturized. You still have to use mosturizing creams.
